Gregory N. Roberts

Chief Executive Officer and Director

Greg Roberts has been Chief Executive Officer and a Director of A-Mark since July 2005. Mr. Roberts has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SGI since March 2008. Mr. Roberts previously served as the President of SGI’s North American coin division, which included A-Mark. He is also a lifetime member of the American Numismatic Association. Through his day-to-day involvement in all aspects of the Company’s operations, Mr. Roberts provides a vital link between junior and senior management personnel and the general oversight and policy-setting responsibilities of the Board. Mr. Roberts is a Director of SGI (serving as such since 2000). Mr. Roberts also serves as Chief Executive Officer of SGI.

Mr. Roberts brings to the Board expertise in numismatics and trading, extensive knowledge of the precious metals industry and, in his role as Chief Executive Officer, in-depth knowledge of the Company and its business

Thor G. Gjerdrum

President

Thor Gjerdrum was appointed as President in September 2016. Mr. Gjerdrum previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2013 and as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President from 2002 to May 2008, and from May 2010 to June 2013. Mr. Gjerdrum was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of SGI from June 2008 to April 2010. Previously, Mr. Gjerdrum held a variety of positions with two publicly traded telecommunications companies, the last of which was as Vice President of Finance, and worked in public accounting. Mr. Gjerdrum received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Santa Clara University.

Brian Aquilino

Chief Operating Officer

Brian Aquilino brings to A-Mark over 25 years operations and logistics experience. Since joining A-Mark in 2001, Mr. Aquilino’s strategic thought leadership has had a pivotal role in transforming A-Mark into a global enterprise servicing millions of highly satisfied customers through multiple lines of business. This excellence has been recognized through several promotions from Director of Operations to Vice President of Operations and then in 2020 being appointed Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to A-Mark, Mr. Aquilino held several management positions as well as President’s Club membership at Pacific Bell Wireless, an operating division of AT&T Mobility. Prior to Pacific Bell Wireless, he was a strategic manager overseeing the LEC and ISP relationships at Covad Communication. Mr. Aquilino received his BA degree from University of Denver.

Oscar Carrasco

Chief Information Officer

Oscar Carrasco brings to A-Mark over 30 years of information technology and operational experience. Since joining A-Mark in 2019, Oscar has contributed greatly to the improved reporting of key A-Mark data for the management of our business and has led with vision, shaping the technological landscape and driving IT organizational success.  His excellence has been recognized through several promotions from Senior Director to Vice President of Information Technology and then in 2024 being appointed Chief Information Officer.

Prior to A-Mark, Oscar worked with global consumer brand companies such as Coca-Cola and Pepsi where he cultivated operational efficiencies, prioritized exceptional customer service, and mastered project delivery. He then continued his career dedicated to Business Intelligence, Financial Planning and Operation forecasting and analytics, and led innovative IT solutions at DIRECTV and AT&T.  Oscar received his BS degree from University of Southern California.

Kathleen Simpson-Taylor

Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Assistant Secretary

Kathleen Simpson-Taylor has served as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Assistant Secretary since September 30, 2019. Prior to that time, she served as Executive Vice President, Controller and Assistant Secretary since November 2, 2017, after serving as Vice President, Controller and Assistant Secretary since January 2016. Ms. Simpson-Taylor formerly held various management and executive capacities for Mattel, Inc. from 1995 to 2015, including as Vice President, Mattel Division Finance and Vice President, USA Finance, and also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Mattel Federal Credit Union from 2002 through 2004. Prior to Mattel, Ms. Simpson-Taylor held management positions at Ernst and Young, LLP, in both their US and Spain practice offices. Ms. Simpson-Taylor, a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University.

David W. G. Madge

Chief Marketing Officer

David Madge has served in various capacities at A-Mark since September 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Madge held various positions with the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM), a Commercial Crown Corporation of the Government of Canada, since 1995, most recently serving as Executive Director of the Bullion and Refinery Business Services, which included the refinery plant operations. Mr. Madge previously served as Director of Bullion & Refinery Services for RCM, where he was responsible for global sales and marketing activities. Mr. Madge received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987, each from the University of Waterloo (Ontario, Canada.)

Carol Meltzer

Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Director

Carol Meltzer was appointed as a Director on December 23, 2021. Ms. Meltzer has served as our General Counsel, Secretary and Executive Vice President since March 2014, assuming those offices at the time of the spin-off. From 2006 to the spin-off, she held the positions of General Counsel, Secretary and Executive Vice President of SGI and its predecessor companies and served in a variety of legal capacities for SGI since 1996. Ms. Meltzer previously practiced law at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. Ms. Meltzer received B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Ms. Meltzer also serves as General Counsel, Secretary and Executive Vice President of SGI and as a director of SGI.

Steven Reiner

Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations
President of CFC

Steve Reiner is A-Mark’s Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations and the President of the Company’s Collateral Finance Corporation subsidiary.  Mr. Reiner joined A-Mark in April 2018 as the Executive Vice President -- Finance Products and Ancillary Services of CFC.  He was promoted to his current positions in December 2019. Mr. Reiner previously served as a Managing Director and the Head of Consumer Investment Banking for B. Riley Financial (NASDAQ: RILY), advising clients on strategic acquisitions and capital raising.  He concurrently served as the Chief Business Development Officer of B. Riley Financial subsidiary Great American Retail Solutions, providing leadership on restructuring and store liquidation matters.  Mr. Reiner developed operating experience as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for the global footwear company Skechers USA (NYSE: SKX) and the President of off-price apparel agent Richard I. Koral, Inc. (dba “Jessica’s”).  Mr. Reiner began his career as an investment banker and built and led Consumer / Retail groups at Financo and CIBC Oppenheimer after working at BT Securities, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Salomon Brothers Inc.  He earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a BS degree from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce.

Jamie Meadows

President of AMST

Jamie Meadows has served as President of Silver Towne Mint since A-Mark acquired a majority stake in the business in 2016. From 2013 through February 2018, Mr. Meadows also served in various other positions, including Executive Vice President and General Manager, for Silver Towne, LP, the co-owner of Silver Towne Mint and a retailer of numismatics and precious metals, serving customers through its physical and e-commerce stores, and its live television show, The Coin Vault. Mr. Meadows has experience in mergers and acquisitions, and has successfully managed turnarounds and periods of explosive growth for multiple companies. Mr. Meadows spent much of his early career managing stores for The Home Depot, and later served as Vice President and General Manager for Ready Set Service, one of The Home Depot’s largest in-store service providers, with more than 1,000 employees across the US. Mr. Meadows received a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian ministries from Cincinnati Bible College.

Sadie Sayyah

President of Goldline

Sadie Sayyah has been with Goldline since 2006, and has served as President since November 2019. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Compliance from 2014 through 2019, where she led the development and implementation of compliance program enhancements, expanded leadership responsibility to oversee professional development and client services departments, and implemented programs and processes to enhance the professionalism of sales executives. Ms. Sayyah previously also held positions in Client Relations, Business Affairs and Client Services at Goldline. Ms. Sayyah received her B.A. in Sociology at University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. degree at Whittier Law School. She is admitted to the California State Bar.

Robert Pacelli

President and Chief Executive Officer of JM Bullion

Robert Pacelli has nearly 20 years of experience in ecommerce operations, merchandising, digital marketing, and procurement. Since joining JMB in 2013, he has held numerous leadership roles, serving as President since July 2022 and previously as Vice President of Marketing. During his tenure, Pacelli was instrumental in establishing JMB as one of the nation’s premier online retailers of precious metals, generating nearly $2 billion in revenue during fiscal year 2022, and accumulating over two million customers. Prior to JMB, he served as the Marketing Director at GSI Commerce, a leading provider of ecommerce and interactive marketing services, which was acquired by eBay. Pacelli graduated from Penn State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

Samantha V. Ettari

Assistant General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer

Samantha Ettari joined A-Mark’s Legal Department in October 2024 and serves as Assistant General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer.  She also serves as the General Counsel of JM Bullion. Ms. Ettari previously practiced law at Perkins Coie, LLP, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, and White & Case LLP.  Her practice focused on commercial litigation, data protection and privacy, e-commerce platforms, data rights, development and use of generative artificial intelligence tools, and cyber security. Early in her legal career, Ms. Ettari served as a federal law clerk in the Eastern District of New York, first for the Hon. Joan M. Azrack and subsequently for the Hon. Edward R. Korman. Ms. Ettari is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, with CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and CIPM certifications. She also serves on the board of the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra. She received a B.A. from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She is admitted to the New York and Texas State Bars.
